Cove Restaurant

Cove Restaurant boasts very good pizza and a welcoming atmosphere. It's also under new management, so if you've been to Cove before and haven't enjoyed yourself, we'd strongly recommend giving it another shot because it would be a shame to miss out on such a good product.

Establishment. Cove Restaurant was a warm, welcoming establishment with ample seating and suspiciously attentive service. As Cove is a more conventional restaurant, their menu has much more to offer than just pizza. Ideally, later operating hours would make Cove an excellent complement to nearby bars but we're truly scraping to find any bad things to say about their establishment. Everything from the dining room to the gloriously accommodating restrooms were sparkling clean, setting near unrealistic expectations for the food.

Pizza. It was obvious to us that Cove's pizza was among the best. Crust, cheese, and sauce were all stellar contributions to a near perfect pizza that lacked only in the texture department. This shortcoming was easily negated by the extraordinary array of toppings, namely the spicy Italian sausage. Regardless of the topping's spiciness, the pizza remained piping hot throughout the meal, adding a little extra something to make a very good pizza excellent.

The bottom line. Cove Restaurant offers great pizza with a wide variety of unique and traditional toppings in addition to a very diverse menu and a great atmosphere.

  1. Excellent Review. It's a shame Barney (the old owner) and his dad aren't around to read it.

+1 for cove, negating the -1 that Reservation Road brought forth. (added to the other +1s for having pat's back, home of DJ's cooking and a fantastic beach).
